Vote Today for the Federation CEOs for Modern Healthcare Top 50 Physician Leaders List

The Permanente Federation’s co-CEOs Edward M. Ellison, MD, and Richard S. Isaacs, MD, FACS, have been nominated for Modern Healthcare’s “50 Most Influential Physician Executives and Leaders.” The Federation represents the national interests of all eight Permanente Medical Groups that provide exclusive care to Kaiser Permanente patients and members.

This annual recognition by Modern Healthcare honors physician leaders who are steering their organizations and the health care delivery system through dynamic, challenging times. Leaders on this list stand out for their scope of responsibilities, personal achievements, innovation, and commitment to the community.

Along with their national roles with the Federation, both Drs. Ellison and Isaacs lead two of the largest physician groups in the country. Dr. Ellison is executive medical director and chairman of the board of Southern California Permanente Medical Group and chairman and CEO of The Southeast Permanente Medical Group. Dr. Isaacs is executive director and CEO of The Permanente Medical Group and president and CEO of Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group.
