In its most recent issue, 110° Magazine featured Sharon Mowat, MD, as a prominent local figure for her work as a Permanente physician. The Country Costa County magazine interviewed her about her unexpected journey to medicine and why she enjoys being an inpatient pediatrician. Dr. Mowat also discusses her role as a physician-in-chief for Kaiser Permanente Antioch Medical Center and a member of a team of more than 950 Permanente Medical Group physicians who provide expert care to members and patients throughout Central and East Contra Costa County and the Tri-Valley Area of Alameda County.
