Kaiser Permanente is proud to serve as the official health partner of the 2018 Special Olympics USA Games in Seattle this summer from July 1 to 6. Sports Medicine physician Jessie Fudge, MD, of the Washington Permanente Medical Group, serves as chief medical officer for the games, leading a team of Permanente physicians who will provide care to the expected 4,000-plus athletes and coaches.
Dr. Fudge, who cares for patients at our Kaiser Permanente Everett Medical Center, got a preview of the Special Olympics work during last year’s Special Olympics North America Golf Championships in Redmond, Wash. Watch the video below to learn more about the event and Dr. Fudge.
