The Kaiser Permanente Bernard J. Tyson School of Medicine opened on July 27, as its inaugural class of 50 students began their journey to becoming future leaders in the medical field.
The Kaiser Permanente School of Medicine will be named in honor of late Kaiser Permanente chairman and CEO Bernard J. Tyson, reflecting Tyson’s commitment to the future of health care and the school.
