“Reuters Events: Digital Health USA 2023” hosts more than 300 digital leaders over 2 intensive days of learning, idea sharing, collaborating, and networking to help accelerate the transformation for consumers and care teams.

Two Permanente physician leaders are scheduled to speak at separate sessions at this event: Leong Koh, MD, president and CEO of Northwest Permanente, and Edward Lee, MD, executive vice president and chief information officer of The Permanente Federation.

Dr. Koh will speak on a keynote panel, “No patient left behind,” to encourage digital health inclusion and greater health equity. Other panelists include: Pooja Mittal, MD, chief health equity officer, Health Net; Daniel Knech, chief clinical transformation officer, CVS Health; and Jesse Ehrenfeld, MD, (moderator) president-elect, American Medical Association.

Dr. Lee will speak on a panel looking at how to achieve maximum patient engagement through connected care. Other panelists include: Eric Smith, chief digital officer, Memorial Hermann; Kelly Jo Golson, executive vice president and chief brand, communications and consumer experience officer, Advocate Health; and Jisella Dolan (moderator), chief global advocacy officer, Home Instead.
