2019 EHR National Symposium

October 11, 2019 @ 8:00 am - 2:00 pm PDT

Free

Stanford Medicine’s 2nd annual EHR National Symposium gathers leading experts from health care, technology, and policy to discuss the future of electronic health systems and their potential to advance personalized and predictive medicine.

Permanente Medicine will be featured in the panel “Freeing Physicians to Do Their Jobs.” After years of medical training, physicians find themselves spending at least half the work day on computers instead of with patients. If this is to change over the next 3 to 5 years, what will need to happen? Panelists include Edward Lee, MD, executive vice president of Information Technology and chief information officer at The Permanente Federation. The panel is scheduled to run from 11:10 a.m. to 12:10 p.m., Pacific, on October 11, 2019.

Register for this free event or watch the Stanford live stream.
