Robin Cisneros

Robin Cisneros is vice president for The Permanente Federation’s External Affairs, Communications and Brand team. Robin brings 36 years of experience at Kaiser Permanente as a creative and collaborative leader to this role — her first 12 years at Southern California Permanente Medical Group and the balance of her tenure in leadership roles of progressive responsibilities and scope at the Federation.   

In her prior role as vice president of Planning and New Clinical Technologies, she supported the National Permanente Executive Committee, the executive medical directors and Kaiser Permanente Program Group, giving her a unique opportunity to understand a wide breadth of initiatives and contemporary issues in the organization.   

Robin has leveraged her deep experience in evidence-based medicine and facilitation of physician teams to lead her team in the development of a national precision medicine and genomics program on behalf of Permanente Medical Groups and in collaboration with Kaiser Foundation Health Plan. She founded and chaired Health and Value Creation and sponsored the Interregional New Technologies Committee and the Medical Device Surveillance Committee for over a decade. Robin previously served as the executive director for medical technology assessment and products that included accountability for the National Product Council.
