Richard Isaacs, MD, FACS, co-CEO of The Permanente Federation, will present on the topic of “Leading in the Future: Driving Quality Care through Intelligent Technologies” at Becker’s 8th Annual CEO + CFO Roundtable. Becker’s interviewed Dr. Isaacs as part of an ongoing series with leaders scheduled to speak at the conference taking place November 11-13 in Chicago.
In the interview, Dr. Isaacs – who also serves as CEO and executive director of The Permanente Medical Group and CEO of Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group – discusses the launch of Kaiser Permanente’s social network to address social determinants of health, the importance of keeping people and populations healthy as the health care industry grows, and how to foster an environment that encourages innovation.
