Nancy Taylor

Vice President
Quality, Social Health, Precision Medicine/Genomics 

Nancy Taylor has over 25 years of experience in health care leadership and consulting. She is currently a vice president at Kaiser Permanente in The Permanente Federation, leading national initiatives in clinical quality, social health, and precision medicine/genomics. Previously she was the chief strategy officer for Stanford University School of Medicine where she helped to set the vision and lead strategic initiatives for the school and two hospitals comprising Stanford Medicine. Prior to her role at Stanford, Nancy was the vice president for Public Policy, External Relations, and Communications at Kaiser Permanente where she oversaw policy, government relations, marketing, and strategic communications at The Permanente Federation. Nancy was also the executive director of the Council of Accountable Physician Practices (CAPP), a coalition of the nation’s most prominent medical groups working to influence national health policy and drive superior value care. 

Nancy has a master’s in business administration from Yale University and an AB in human biology from Stanford University. She has also led her own consultancy, serves as a board member for a national non-profit dedicated to health equity, and serves as an advisor to health care start-ups.
