DESCRIPTION:CNBC presents a one-day event on Tuesday\, May 21\, 2019\, that brings together top health care investors\, CEOs\, and technologists to explore the innovations that will drive better outcomes\, financially and clinically. \nEdward Ellison\, MD\, executive medical director and chairman\, Southern California Permanente Medical Group\, is among the invited speakers and will be presenting on “The Provider View: Heal Thyself\,” a look at some of the ways SCPMG is addressing physician wellness in light of industry statistics showing the number of doctor suicides in the country is twice the general population. The session is tentatively scheduled to occur during the morning\, from 9 a.m. to noon\, Eastern time. \nDr. Ellison is also chairman and CEO of The Southeast Permanente Medical Group\, and co-CEO of The Permanente Federation.
